Environmental Education for the Next Generation

Kids can do more than we think. They can solve problems creatively, they can think intelligently and they can explore the world with genuine curiosity. Through weekly classroom workshops we connect these talents with environmental lessons that help kids create a more sustainable world.

It Starts With a Seed

During our first weekly class, each student is given a seed that they'll care for over the course of the program. As the kids learn about nature through math, music and more, their seeds slowly grow. Together, the students and their plants sprout up, connecting their everyday life with the environment.

    To overcome financial constraints, we've made our program completely free. By eliminating the cost barrier, we can bring environmental education to children from a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

    Our classes are led by teams of highly trained college students, many of whom are studying education. Aside from providing hands-on experience in the classroom, our instructors are able to contribute to society.

We make sure 100% of donations are used to teach more kids. To support our growth, we bring together a community of business people and philanthropists who’s missions and passions align with ours. These Seed members pave the way for our team to grow our organization and do what many thought was impossible: scale the organization using our 100% model and bring our program to every state in the nation.

Seed members receive the annual Sprout Up journal, a quarterly update on their sponsorship, a Sprout Up t-shirt, and 2 tickets to the annual Investing in Our Youth Gala in Santa Barbara.
