Maddie is a fourth-year Environmental Studies Major with an emphasis in Ecology and Evolution at the University of California, Santa Barbara. This is her third year being a part of the Sprout Up community and she couldn't be more excited for what's to come. During her time at Sprout Up, she is most excited about her opportunity to provide environmental education to the youth in her local community at a time where environmental awareness is becoming increasingly important.

Hi everyone! My name's Christian and I am a second-year double majoring in Environmental Studies and Economics at UCSB. I chose to be a part of Sprout Up because I believe teaching a new generation about the importance of nature is the key to solving environmental problems. I also just love working with kids and being in the classroom! Outside of Sprout Up, I love taking walks to the beach, watching sunsets, and making friendship bracelets.

Hi, I'm Taylor and am a third-year Environmental Studies major at UC Santa Barbara. This is my second year being a part of Sprout Up and can't wait to continue to be a part of this special community. I love to watch our students grow and enjoy their time learning about the environment, while occasionally teaching me new things! Outside of Sprout Up, I love to hike, run, rock climb, and enjoy the outdoors!

Hi I'm Jackie and I am a second year Environmental Studies major intending on double majoring in Economics! As one of the Material Coordinators for Sprout Up, I help to prepare and organize the necessary materials for each lesson so that the kids can learn from hands-on activities! Being a part of the organization has been so rewarding and I cannot wait to continue my involvement with the club! In my free time, I love relaxing at the beach, painting, going to concerts, taking new classes (hot yoga, cooking, etc.), and spending time with family and friends.
